1.
The supervisors in the area where I work are very easy to communicate with.
It’s genuinely quite nice to have my opinions taken into consideration.
It seems like the beauty department recently got a new BOSS.
There have been so many improvements overall.
The controversial rule about reporting overtime was abolished in an instant.
I’ve also seen colleagues who perform well and are specifically requested by customers receive rewards.
It was genuinely motivating.
2.
You can bring your pets in to bathe them yourself for free or have them accompany you during your shift.
If you have the beauty staff wash them, you also get the employee rate.
3.
The amount of leave is probably the most generous among all the stores I’ve worked at.
Employees can purchase certain products for as little as 66% of the regular price.
If you have pets, you can genuinely save a lot of money.
The other benefits should be described fairly thoroughly in the job posting.
That’s actually what initially drew me here.
4.
The new boss’s free grooming training courses.
They’re so incredibly generous that I don’t even dare say more.
1.
Because there is so much leave, it has indirectly resulted in understaffing.
Employees are not assigned to work at the same store consistently.
Although assignments do take people’s preferences into account,
is that considered a blessing in disguise...?
Of course, it would be best not to have to travel between stores.
2.
The several stores in one area each have their own way of doing things.
Although you can accumulate more varied experience,
adapting and becoming familiar with each one is also a challenge.
3.
Some branches require transporting customers’ dogs/cats even when the timing and transportation costs don’t make sense.
Personally, I don’t really like this.
