Cons

I recently interviewed for a part-time position at their exhibition venue, and the result was that the person in charge was replaced, the shifts were arranged in a complete mess, and there was a staff shortage. One moment no one was available over there, and the next moment no one was available here. They would then randomly pull part-time workers from other areas, without even knowing whether those workers knew how to use the POS system in this area. The person in charge only knows how to talk and completely refuses to acknowledge that they have any problems. In the end, they even dragged other supervisors in to take the blame, and then shifted the responsibility onto other people. The supervisors they chose were the same way—they seemed to be busy flailing around all day without knowing what they were doing. Whenever a part-time worker reported an issue to them, the final result was that they would go and report it behind their back to upper management.

They also say that matters should be discussed in the group chat, but things such as break rotations and who is working at what time and needs to rotate breaks with everyone else are only communicated verbally, and are not announced in the group chat at all. Then, the people who were not informed are blamed, either as if it were their own fault or the team leader’s fault, even though the team leader often only finds out on the day itself. The other supervisors are treated entirely as scapegoats.

Even though there is a store manager, and the store manager agrees with what we are doing, the assistant manager still comes over and says everything has to be standardized. I really want to know: is he the store manager now, or are you the store manager?

This newly appointed person in charge also inexplicably kicked a part-time worker who had already been accepted out of the group chat. The only reason was that this person in charge thought the worker did not want to stay at the position they had been assigned to, but that was not the case—the worker had merely asked a question, and was then kicked out of the group chat.
