When the boss refuses to pay severance, the business team will help you negotiate for it.
The client failed to notify us one month in advance as agreed that they would not renew the contract, resulting in only two companies being available for interviews at short notice. Although I was hired, during the period before the next job started, the boss pressured me to use my own paid leave to make up for it. The client was clearly at fault, yet employees were forced to absorb the loss themselves; furthermore, the projects at this company generally require only very low-level skills, so clients are usually unwilling to pay high salaries for outsourcing. The boss does not seek projects requiring advanced skills, but instead turns around and claims that your demands are too high and forces you to leave. I hope this boss gets what they deserve soon.
