Pros

"When the timing is right," the starting salary is medium-high, and there are frequent waves of resignations; if you can endure them, you can get a raise.

Cons

The good reviews currently available online are all from interviews at the Caotun plant, after which you are directly assigned to the Nangang plant. The Caotun plant is a retirement paradise; the Nangang plant is a frontline battlefield.

The company pays overtime. If you want to have a good life, doing good deeds is indispensable. It goes beyond 996 (including doing good deeds). You must work overtime on weekends and holidays; work whenever a holiday falls on a weekday. A great place for orphans to avoid vacations and save the trouble of being alone with their thoughts.

People constantly come and go; it is completely normal. The company often has people who have worked there for 10 or 20 years being let go—who can they blame when they threaten a supervisor's position? Used and discarded like disposable chopsticks; pitiful.

Many veterans spend all day consolidating their own positions. If you are too capable, you will threaten your supervisor, which means you are not a good employee. You have to make your supervisor feel at ease. If there are other opportunities for promotion, rest assured that your supervisor will help you. Supervisors worry that you will break out of your comfort zone and become too tired, so they will help shape your image and keep you in your comfort zone, where you can be safely coddled.

There are often phantom vacancies: one moment they say they need more people, and the next they say the headcount is full. Unfortunately, I do not have a third eye and cannot communicate with new colleagues.

The company provides enough resources for you to practice becoming a supervisor ahead of time, because supervisors have to give their subordinates opportunities. You inevitably become a switchboard operator, pressing the email-forwarding button until it breaks. Under this open-ended education, it is best not to bother them with anything. Forwarding emails is already tiring enough for them. If you do something poorly, they will also “educate” you by calling you out by name. If you do well, it is the mentor's achievement, and your name will be removed. But remember: supervisors always think of their children and cannot bear to let you leave your comfort zone. If you want to venture out, they will venture out for you first, then share the work with you without reservation so you can practice. You must repay their kindness and show the mentor the utmost respect; this is very important to them.

The supervisor has extensive experience, so whatever they say goes. Even if what they say is wrong, you still have to produce the result using the wrong method. You cannot refuse to follow their method, because you are still inexperienced, while they have spent so many years gaining experience at the company—surely they have their reasons, which you cannot easily comprehend.

The unclear division of work is intended to give employees a broader range of skills, so that in the future they can transfer to any department (maybe? Perhaps they could even open one branch of the Zhongchuan Group by themselves).
