If you are smooth-talking and very good at attacking your colleagues, you will definitely be able to adapt to this company’s environment as a priority. It is very bureaucratic here; you don’t need to be good at your job. If you know how to flatter your supervisor (for no reason, compliment your supervisor’s appearance or buy them a Starbucks downstairs), you can easily pocket the year-end bonus. If you want to join, you should apply for a managerial position at the very least. There are many section chiefs here—the ratio is about the same as that of regular employees.
1. The work environment is poor, and there is workplace bullying. Supervisors will take the lead or allow other supervisors to bully you.
2. The company culture is very bureaucratic. You have to be very fake every day. After joining, you will find that your colleagues are indifferent or waiting to see you mess up. Once you accidentally make a mistake, you can expect colleagues and supervisors to kick you while you’re down.
3. Only supervisors are allowed to slack off at work.
Supervisors shop online, make personal phone calls, scold their children, or complain to other supervisors about whoever has offended them.
4. Supervisors like to form cliques, and you are also expected to join them in discussing and disliking the people they dislike.
