永泰國際飯店股份有限公司-村却國際溫泉酒店
Pros

Meals provided, but rather unappetizing

Cons

1. The boss is honestly the biggest problem. If he takes a dislike to you, he will mercilessly berate you and curse your life.

2. The boss forgets what he has said and the documents he has signed after a couple of days. Forgetting would be one thing, but he will then turn around and berate you, asking when he ever said that, accusing you of messing things up, and saying that you are the reason the company has become such a mess—that everything is your fault!

3. The person who calls themselves the special assistant cannot do anything, yet insists on interfering in everything. Relying on the boss listening to them, they make up all kinds of rumors about people who do not curry favor with them and tell the boss, pinning a bunch of nonexistent charges on you. They will even threaten to send you a formal legal notice!

4. The workday is 9 hours with 1 hour of break, but no one actually gets the full hour of rest. The time is effectively given to the company. Overtime is routine because there are not enough employees. The boss also tells you to provide support in various places, but no one teaches you; then the boss berates you for not learning and asks how you could not know how to do it, while giving you a sour face.

5. Although smoking indoors is prohibited, the boss still lights cigarettes directly in the office and smokes right beside you. He even taps the ash directly onto the floor. Supervisors also smoke e-cigarettes directly in the restroom and break areas, and repeatedly ignore requests to stop.

6. The office air-conditioning and the kitchen exhaust system appear to use the same ductwork. Whenever it is mealtime, the smell of cooking fumes fills the enclosed space, turning you into a human range hood and making you breathe in exhaust fumes.

7. The boss favors the new and dislikes the old. Even if you are highly capable at your job, it is of no use here. Once new employees arrive, the boss starts finding fault with existing staff, insulting you harshly, and trying to force you out, so the turnover rate is very high.

8. Even when there are problems with the rooms, they are not fully repaired; the rooms continue to be sold, and whoever ends up staying in one is simply considered lucky.

9. The employee meals are very greasy, and the food may even be leftovers from the guests’ buffet, served to employees afterward.

10. Upon resignation, wages are not paid on time. You are required to go to the company in person to collect them. Although they could clearly make a bank transfer, they insist on making you go there again, and may even say that you cannot collect your wages because you did not complete the handover properly.
