Broadening your horizons—everything that happens at this company can turn your worldview upside down.
1. The boss has extremely poor hygiene, a very strong body odor, and halitosis that cannot be blocked even by wearing a mask, making it unpleasant to work.
2. The boss and his wife are extremely stingy. Not only are meals not reimbursed during business trips, but when submitting expense claims, you have to repeatedly follow up with the boss’s wife before you can get back the money you advanced. When traveling with the boss, you often have to pay for his meals (yes, you really have to pay for the boss’s meals), and he will not proactively repay you.
3. The boss is extremely emotional, politically minded, and very sensitive. Once he “feels” that your political stance differs from his, he will blow up, have his feelings hurt, and start freezing you out.
4. The boss gets bored with the old and is extremely fond of the new. He only likes newly hired employees and will look for opportunities to take newly hired female employees out driving, even though it is not actually required for work and is purely a matter of his personal preference.
5. The boss always likes to drive fast. When he is in a bad mood, he will even deliberately tailgate and harass other drivers. He drives fast while using his phone—not to handle work matters, but to scroll TikTok, browse Facebook, and watch YouTube. He clearly believes that other people’s children are expendable.
6. During interviews, he always makes all kinds of grand promises to attract candidates. Only after joining the company do you discover that everything mentioned in the interview was exaggerated by the boss. If the company goes bankrupt someday, the boss might consider applying to be an interviewer at another company.
7. The boss is always enthusiastic for only three minutes. As soon as anything displeases him, he abandons the project and dumps it on the employees, does nothing during the event, and then blames the employees afterward for not doing a good job. Meanwhile, the boss’s wife is blinded by love and endlessly tolerates her husband, resulting in the employees of this company always taking the full blame.
8. It is a very small company—there are only eight employees even at full staff—but 16 people have left within half a year. Why do you think that is?
If I had to give it a rating, I would absolutely give it a negative score.
