Being able to stay at this company for more than six months makes you practically a veteran. Employee turnover is far too high—not because people’s professional skills can’t keep up, but because the boss’s ideas can’t keep up. Things keep changing, so I hope everyone maxes out their mind-reading skills before joining.
I worked there for a year and a half. Benefits existed, but only appeared occasionally. Very few people probably ever received bonuses, and there may or may not be a year-end bonus—I may also have been deceived by the company’s sales talk. Employee stock options and share subscriptions? Don’t even think about it.
Work: Everyone needs to max out their versatile skills. For example: HR兼 accounting兼 office assistant兼 printing兼 secretary?! You need to be able to accept constant change. As other comments have said, you need mind-reading skills; otherwise, proposals keep being revised until the end of time. You need to be able to accept the boss painting grand plans and promising you the world, only to later say, “I never said that,” and never admit fault.
When the boss wants you to leave, they won’t say so directly! They’ll start making things difficult for you until you make a mistake!? It’s absolutely ridiculous!
However, the managers’ abilities are generally quite good. They have ability and professional expertise, but they can’t persuade the boss. That’s all.
Friends who are thinking about interviewing or preparing to join can use this as a reference.
