Looking back, during the initial application interview they pretended to be friendly and painted a rosy picture. In reality, they were pretending to be amiable because they couldn't recruit enough people, were in a hurry to hire, and couldn't retain talent.

You really only find out after joining that people who appear to be managers are actually not managers.

The direct supervisor always just talks about past achievements; all the nitpicking is merely the supervisor's personal emotions. In meetings, the supervisor always only uses subordinates' ideas to take credit with upper management.

The company is completely business-oriented—but the performance rewards are always received only by those few old-timers.

Aside from the business departments directly focused on performance, the staff in departments without direct revenue benefits seem to have it really tough (although it's not my department, so it's none of my business).

The turnover rate is frighteningly high. One person resigning every month is nothing unusual; people are always coming and going. Those considering an interview, think twice. The same goes for those considering joining. I'll pray that you haven't been tricked into it 😂
