The straightforward layoffs
They said they didn’t want people to regularly work overtime, but after joining, everyone slept at the company, claiming it was to build relationships after work (eye roll). As for being assigned cleaning duty, they never originally said we had to clean the toilets, but when outside visitors came, the person on duty was suddenly required to clean the toilets.
The base salary is fine, but holiday overtime is paid at the weekday overtime rate. Internally, they said the work was divided up, but after joining, one person ended up doing everything from start to finish. They called it “division of labor,” yet if you couldn’t finish, they said you weren’t serious about your work. You also had to install the software yourself. If the computer was too poor to run it, they said you weren’t serious about your work. They even gave employees terrible computers that couldn’t create a restore point (lol).
A young senior colleague said the format was fine, but after I finished it, they told the supervisor that I had made the same mistake despite being told many times. The address has changed now, but the people haven’t, so there probably won’t be much difference.
They even tell laid-off employees not to go around talking about it ^^ If you haven’t done anything wrong, there’s no need to be afraid. If someone in your family happens to be ill and you don’t work overtime, they’ll even say, “Does your family still need you to take care of them?”
