Pros

Occasionally, there are free drinks and meals, and you leave and arrive on time.

Cons

The long-term employees at the branch are extremely hostile toward newcomers. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a part-time worker or a nurse—as long as you’re new, they look down on you. No one is willing to teach you properly. If you ask a question on your first day, they immediately give you a nasty attitude. The people there may seem close and use affectionate nicknames with one another, but in reality, none of them can stand each other. When someone isn’t around, they speak harshly about that person behind their back. If you’re new, though, you’ll first be the subject of gossip about your appearance and your field of study for quite some time.

They think that the clinic assistant work done by part-time employees is unskilled labor. But as soon as there are no part-time employees, they even forget to take out the trash. (Most of it consists of the lunch boxes, drink containers, and other trash left over from their own meals; they don’t do anything even when it’s practically overflowing from the restroom.) Not a single person even knows how to scan and file medical records, and no one organizes the medical-record room anymore. Yet they’ve forgotten that this was originally their responsibility—the company merely opened temporary positions so temporary staff could help shoulder the workload.

They’ve just bullied several newcomers into leaving, so they’re desperately short-staffed now. Don’t make the mistake of joining. The hourly wage is only 168, and you’ll also have to play palace intrigue; no one will train you, and they’ll only snap at you. It’s not worth it.

Also, because the nurses are all women, they are extremely hostile toward women. Female newcomers—whether part-time workers or nurses—will be ignored or bullied for a period of time. Their attitude is so bad that they are even rude to female optometrists. If you’re a man applying to work there, they’ll be very tolerant of you: even if you do everything wrong or do nothing at all, they won’t scold you.
