It is very easy to receive an interview invitation, the interview is very simple, and it is very easy to get hired (the beginning of a nightmare)
During the interview, they simply asked some questions about patents.
What are the three requirements for a patent?
Why do you want to work at a patent firm?
The interview with the two supervisors, O_卡 and F雪, ended after 30 minutes.
As mentioned in the previous few comments, during the first few weeks after joining, I had to go through the training slides on my own, and the content of the slides was much the same as the lecture notes from school.
One day, I opened the employee system and discovered that I had been assigned an Office Action (OA) task.
As the previous comments indicated, the supervisor did not communicate with me beforehand, did not ask how I was doing with the slides, and did not ask whether I was ready to take on the task..........
But I still tried to demonstrate a good employee spirit by asking questions and giving it a try myself.
During the interview, they said there would be no overtime, but they would invite you to dinner.
After dinner, they would give you something for “self-directed learning” (or material to improve your OA work) and tell you that you could stay for evening self-study.
Observing the other colleagues, they only started wrapping up their work at around 21:00, and the office closed at 23:00 at the latest.
It was really painful to keep hitting walls on my own during those days.
A month later, I was told that my probationary period had ended, and I had to look for another job.
This echoed the experiences described in the previous few comments.
