The back-of-house colleagues are very nice. Some front-of-house colleagues avoid working, drink beverages, and mutter complaints, constantly comparing colleagues who have been there for a week with those who have been there for several months.

Those who lack stress tolerance or a sufficiently positive attitude should not try this. You need to be able to read minds there; they will not necessarily teach you everything. This is a workplace, not a school, so you are expected to know everything. If you do not have extensive food-and-beverage experience or a related degree, applying is strongly discouraged.
