Well-known in the industry—there is one kind of being well-known that is positive, but unfortunately, this is the other kind.
The employee turnover rate is extremely high. Supervisors bring their emotions into work and have no patience to train newcomers. When new employees do not know how to do something, they are loudly reprimanded. Supervisor surnamed Zhong is shouting and raising their voice all day long, has a stern expression, is hot-tempered, and forgetful. Employees are often scolded for no apparent reason. Instructions are never communicated completely. If you do something correctly, that is simply expected; if you make a mistake, you are harshly berated regardless of whether you are a newcomer. The staff’s insufficient ability creates a vicious cycle, so there are no newcomers at this company. Among the current employees, the finance vice president has been there for over one year, the site deputy manager for three years, and the site manager for three months; everyone else has been there for no more than two months. Employees leave work at 7–8 p.m. every day, with no overtime pay. There have been quite a few labor disputes. You may want to ask around before coming—the engineering industry is very small.
