Pros

If you want to experience a round of *Empresses in the Palace*, this place lets your wishes come true.

1. They provide factory resources and customer lists, making you think you can get promoted and strike it rich—only to find out that you’ve become the leek being harvested.

2. You get to witness mouth after mouth stirring up trouble wherever they can, regardless of age; your colleagues are all masters of Sichuan opera–style face-changing.

3. You can experience firsthand the trauma caused by wandering hands.

4. The boss’s ears are filled with your “kind words that you don’t want others to know about,” while your colleagues are all great writers of baseless rumors.

5. Thorough practice in cultivating the virtue of making others look good: whatever the boss praises was done by your supervisor; whatever the boss thinks is wrong was insisted upon by you. Holding on to your eternally stagnant salary is your best choice.

6. You can learn to take the blame without complaint: production falling behind is your fault; customers not placing orders is your fault; unsold inventory is your fault.

8. A power game that lets you enjoy watching the spectacle: every supervisor is either an air force commander or a royal relative. Even if they are useless and can do nothing, they still have you to take the fall for them.

9. Professional knowledge is unnecessary here. As long as you have the cultural literacy of a sycophant and act as a yes-man, life is worry-free.

10. The supervisors are skilled at making empty promises, and the slogans are shouted loud and clear: the company is expanding, a major first-line brand will cover the whole family, helping you get promoted and strike it rich and giving you a bright future.

12. The company lacks brand awareness, marketing ability, product management, and the self-awareness to recognize its own shortcomings, but offers plenty of room for you to make an impact.

Cons

No insurance for workplace injuries

No bonuses for the three major festivals; instead, the company gives you fruit gift boxes purchased from its own products.

Year-end bonuses depend on the boss’s mood, while performance bonuses go to the supervisors.
