Company policies and systems are planned with employees’ opinions taken into consideration. There are principles in place, but the approach is also relatively people-oriented.

Store employees need to work scheduled shifts, but employees’ personal lives are highly respected. If someone needs to care for their family or requests leave early for an overseas trip, team members help and support one another. There is a very positive team atmosphere.

There is a monthly bonus. If targets are achieved, employees may receive anywhere from a few thousand to over ten thousand. The targets are also fairly reasonable, and they are generally achievable with serious effort.

Every month, we return to the head office for meetings and training. It is a corrugated-metal building that feels somewhat basic, but it is still fairly clean. I have heard that there are plans to establish a new headquarters building.

The stores have many customers and can sometimes be quite busy, but that also makes it easier to get up to speed quickly.
