None! A self-righteous company
During my first interview, I thought the company had goals and ambition! However, after joining the company, I discovered that, in addition to relatives and favorites of those in power, there were also many self-righteous middle managers!
The company established an automation equipment department overseeing three divisions: FAE, mechanical design, and electrical control design! Apart from FAE, the other two divisions require highly specialized technical expertise and should be led by professional managers. This department has a senior manager responsible for business and another manager leading technical development. However, there is really nothing positive to say about these two people. In particular, the manager would often sit on customer requests until they could no longer be delayed, then casually promise the customer a delivery date to put pressure on the design department. By the time a project was assigned, there was often less than two months left!
In the department group chat, this manager selectively answered questions he was willing to address. If someone asked a question that he felt challenged his expertise, he would avoid answering and look for an opportunity to report the person to senior management for termination! The senior manager often went out with the department manager, claiming they were discussing project development with customers. But if they were discussing the development of a technical project, why not bring along a professional technical person to understand it? This behavior invites speculation! The senior manager also clearly understood the department manager’s abilities, yet instead of dealing with the issue, continued protecting this manager! As a result, talent in this automation department has constantly come and gone, and the company has been unable to retain people!
I strongly advise job seekers not to join Chung-Chin. That tempting piece of the pie will give you indigestion!
