There are pros, but even more cons.
1. Extremely high employee turnover (the job bank is constantly open).
2. There are many bosses (but their opinions are not necessarily the same, and information is not synchronized. It is very difficult to work when conflicts arise).
3. A family-run business (for those relatives who have already joined the company, be careful with what you say and do. Relatives, friends, and confidants are everywhere around you).
4. You may be laid off at any time (this has absolutely nothing to do with your work ability here. If you are laid off, do not feel too bad—you simply did not win their favor).
5. Illogical salary adjustments (I was only given my first adjustment after nearly three years, and after exactly three years following the adjustment, I was laid off).
6. You have to write a daily work report every day (but they will still ask about your progress, so it feels like writing it serves little purpose. The same goes for emails).
7. Duty rotation (all female employees have to take turns doing it for a week. This is usually not mentioned during interviews. You have to answer calls and do miscellaneous tasks, and you cannot take a break during lunch).
8. There are many trivial matters (you even have to sign for taking a fax or stationery?? Even when a client sends you a quotation, you have to sign for receipt).
9. You have to clean the company during the Lunar New Year (an area will be assigned to each person, and it will be inspected one by one after cleaning).
10. The details of assigned tasks are extremely unclear (they become impatient when you ask for clarification).
There is still a lot more I could write~ I’ll leave it at this for now, for everyone’s reference!!
