None. Really, none.
1. The 104 job posting only said that familiarity with programming languages and software development was required, which was vastly different from the job responsibilities described by the interviewer.
2. Different managers took turns putting the interviewee through an exhausting gauntlet. I went in at 1 p.m. and didn't leave until after 6 p.m....
3. The technical manager was extremely condescending and kept rejecting everything. They also kept using manufacturing-industry terminology to embarrass the interviewee. (Your job posting didn't mention any of this, yet you kept asking about it—what exactly are you trying to prove?)
4. Another manager enthusiastically introduced me to a different position and we talked a lot, but in the end I wasn't allowed to choose that position. WTF?
5. Finally, the department director offered me three positions to choose from, but the position mentioned in point 4 wasn't among them. The job responsibilities for all the positions were also very different from the descriptions in the 104 job posting.
6. It feels like this company's HR department is a mess! They didn't consolidate the talent needs of the managers at different levels and just blindly cast a wide net on 104.
7. I hope the company's managers will pay more attention to talent! The interview was so careless, wasting so much of the interviewee's time and even humiliating them. Do you really think people have no choice but to work for you?
