The work organization is loose, with many opportunities to exploit loopholes and slack off, and no penalties even if caught.
There are many kind employees. Those who have been there for over a year are generally very good-natured and responsible, the type who are simply grateful to have a job.
1. There is high employee turnover at both the headquarters and the stores, and the job responsibilities require handling a wide range of tasks.
2. As a traditional industry, the company’s technology and systems are underdeveloped. To save costs, the time-clock system is not installed on every employee’s computer, so employees need to help colleagues clock in and out.
3. A lot of time is spent in meetings discussing goals, content, and ways of doing things, but implementation cannot be audited. There are no penalties for failing to follow the agreed-upon procedures.
4. The office area is relatively remote. The office is a two-story building made of corrugated metal, with many rats, mosquitoes, insects, and spiders.
