Pros

Cons

I worked there for about three years in the IT department. First of all, there were no raises for all three years! Yes, that's right. Unless you don't care, job seekers reading this, don't doubt it—I recommend that you choose a better option! The HR interviewer, Mr. M, has tremendous potential to switch careers to a scam operation! Since my previous experiences with raises at work had been bad, I specifically asked about this when job hunting. Mr. M patted his chest and told me the average was at least 3%! The fact is, I received a 0% raise during these three years, even though my performance ratings were average or even above average. When I raised this with them, they gave me a perfunctory excuse, saying that my job level had already reached the salary-range ceiling and that I should work harder and perform well enough to get promoted. So, for the sake of this carrot, I went and completed a bunch of project KPIs. And what happened? Other than a “thanks for your hard work,” I still got nothing! For a company like this, I urge all smart job seekers to think carefully! What they want here isn't someone who can get things done, but someone who is “building factions.” Yes, they want a faction member whose preferences and style are exactly the same as theirs and whom they can control! Once you join, you'd better align with the faction and preferences of IT Director A; otherwise, no matter how hard you work yourself to death, they will never like you! If, unfortunately, your interview is with the Accounting team, you need to be even more cautious around Ms. R! She is Director A's deeply cherished favorite! The reason is that many years ago, she helped him complete a system for a subsidiary, which left a deep impression on him (Boss, many years ago, you also gave her a raise and promoted her). How is it that this invincible star never disappears? Moreover, Ms. R has to manage every last detail everywhere she goes! If you're used to the management systems of large companies that focus on broad, goal-oriented direction, you absolutely should not come here. Do not offend Ms. R under any circumstances—don't forget, she has an eternally invincible star!
