高鼎精密材料股份有限公司
Pros

Possibly 10 years ago, this was still a decent company. A few managers had ideas, passion, and the ability to get things done, but they were all forced out.

Cons

The job title sounds impressive—it’s called “engineer”—but basically, once you join, you do the work of a technician.

Senior management is extremely paranoid and very afraid that employees will leak confidential information. Some raw materials are not even disclosed to the R&D team. After going around in circles with great effort, you may think you’ve found a new raw material to try for product development, only to discover that the company had already been using it for a long time. How is anyone supposed to develop products efficiently this way?

Apparently, quite a few surveillance devices were installed later on, making employees extremely cautious even when talking in the laboratory or office, afraid of accidentally upsetting someone who is overly sensitive.

Someone mentioned problems with managerial bullying. Fortunately, I never experienced it myself, because I ran away before I could be bullied. However, I was lucky enough to encounter several good seniors before leaving. Unfortunately, they were either forced out or saw through the company’s ugliness. Actually, it’s not something to regret—they should be congratulated for escaping from hell.

Someone also mentioned that some managers would push their subordinates off a cliff, and I experienced this personally as well. Although it was only a small matter, it was enough to see through this manager’s lack of accountability. (I’m curious whether this manager is still there.)

Yet even when someone submits their resignation, there are still people who try to fish for information, hoping to catch others’ vulnerabilities and settle scores. It’s absolutely deranged.
