They also love talking about their supposedly glorious success stories from ten years ago, repeating them over and over without getting tired of it. Meetings lack focus and go around in circles. The supervisors lack the professional skills they should have—the higher-ranking they are, the worse it is. The sales team often cannot explain requirements clearly, leaving them ambiguous and vague; they avoid committing themselves in case something goes wrong and they have to take responsibility. The design manager shirks responsibilities and relies on seniority. Because they are very obedient, whenever there is a dispute at work, the boss will step in to support them. No matter how serious the matter is, once the boss comes out and smooths things over, it is considered settled. After everyone’s reactions prove ineffective for long enough, they become indifferent. If you want to work happily, just be mindless. That’s all.
