The work atmosphere is very good. Everyone supports one another—we sweat and rest together. When there is something they do not know, the senior employees patiently teach them. There is no master-apprentice attitude; everyone is easy to get along with.
The air quality is very poor, especially considering that this is a chemical plant. There is no adequate ventilation system, and although many people have raised the issue, it has still not been improved. The entire plant is stuffy and filled with toxic chemical fumes and odors. The air does not circulate inside the plant, so basically, you are constantly breathing in chemical smells. After inhaling them for a while, you may feel dizzy or even vomit; prolonged exposure is genuinely harmful to your health.
There is essentially no concept of safety measures. Although many practices are known to potentially cause workplace injuries, they have not been reviewed or improved. The work inside the facility involves high temperatures: the high-temperature processes exceed 200°C, while even the low-temperature processes are around 100°C. Many senior employees have suffered splash burns, leaving large scars imprinted on their skin, yet the company has not reviewed how to make improvements to prevent such incidents from happening again.
