The JD for the managerial position was recommended by a recruiting agency whose name starts with A. They said a phone conversation would be required before the interview. Unexpectedly, when the other company’s Marketing Manager called, the managerial responsibilities described in the JD were completely different. On top of that, the interviewer kept asking, “Is there anything else you’d like to ask?” and seemed very impatient, as if they wanted to wrap things up quickly. The entire conversation felt very cold, which is quite different from Decathlon’s corporate image...

Later, I discovered that the JD issued by the agency was simply incorrect, making the first phone interview end in a completely awkward manner...

Please, could your company stop having recruiting agencies arrange interviews without first confirming the job details with you? It wastes the interviewee’s time!

Your company headquarters are in Taichung, and I had already agreed that I could travel there for work. Why did you still agree to let the agency bring in someone from northern Taiwan just to reject them?
