Pros

No written test, just an interview.

However, before the interview, they give you an A4 sheet to fill out with your work skills, expected salary, and the position you’re applying for XD

Cons

1. They said they would notify me of the result in a day or two, but never did.

2. During the interview, they mentioned that the work for this position was very straightforward, but kept bringing up the risks of their software. We spent nearly an hour just talking about the risks~~ (I was thinking to myself, isn’t every piece of software in the same situation once it goes into production? What makes yours so special? = = |||)

3. The department manager mentioned that even if you didn’t do anything, you could still make easy money by being on call (by “easy money,” they meant that everyone in the same department could get on-call pay, even if they weren’t the person handling the issue). They also went on to say that if something wasn’t very urgent, it was fine to come into the office and deal with it the next day.

(Well XD After hearing that, I thought to myself.... Is this an easy job? It’s rare to meet such an honest manager. I’m in, bro XD)

4. Before I left, they even asked whether I was married yet? (Looking back, it’s really hilarious XD)

5. When we discussed salary, I felt like they were being evasive, so I based my expected salary on my previous salary and put down a slightly higher figure. Then they told me that the maximum salary for this position was exactly the figure I had requested. At first, I was half skeptical www, but when they started talking about the risks, I realized they were trying to discourage me from taking the job. They also mentioned that the salary might be slightly lower during the first few months of the probationary period.

(Overall, I felt that they didn’t really want to hire me. Since the work was straightforward, people looking for a high salary might not be a good fit.)

6. The cleanliness of the workplace really needs some attention.

Conclusion: Don’t waste job applicants’ time
