1. Monitor the status of all channels, platforms, and systems during shifts
2. Record customer and upstream partner service requests and the handling process
3. Assist with POC testing and coordinate various system software tests
4. Perform basic troubleshooting and system restarts
5. ESN signal monitoring (nights, holidays)
6. Troubleshoot faults (Asia-Pacific)
7. Schedule programming broadcasts (Eastern Broadcasting (weekly), TVBS (weekly), TIME (monthly))
8. Troubleshoot programming broadcast issues
9. Verify content (nights), monitor Zhi-Kuang (daytime)
Once these tasks are completed, all that remains is keeping an eye on the channels to prevent errors, and you can have a stable, trouble-free shift until clocking out.
The boss expects the on-duty OP to know a lot and be able to think, but will not give you a raise. They will say that this position has a ceiling!?
They expect you to devote time and effort to learning, yet will not give you any time, expecting you to be able to carry out the work as soon as you finish it, like taking a crash course.
They are also afraid you will sleep while working nights, so they schedule channel checks every hour. This is only because the boss believes that an on-duty OP will definitely sleep and that this absolutely cannot happen??? Even when you explain that it did not happen, they will simply assume unilaterally that you are covering something up out of guilt. They will even use it against you!
