The design department and HR department managers are fairly easy to communicate with.

This Dalonghai Cultural Enterprise Co., Ltd. is the same company as Dadonghai Cultural Enterprise Co., Ltd.; they belong to the same group.

At first, the interview was with HR, and I answered questions about my previous experience and presented my portfolio.

It was all fairly basic information gathering. Because the overall impression was good, I also expressed that I wanted to work for the company steadily over the long term. They then asked someone at the level of a department director to conduct a second interview immediately. That interview was unbelievable: the interviewer only talked about their own philosophy, ideas, and methods, living entirely in their own world, and showed no interest whatsoever in understanding how to manage social media effectively and practically. They even gave me two employee training manuals. I took a brief look at them, and they were simply this director’s own understanding of social media and marketing—put bluntly, basic knowledge that can be found on Google. But theory is ultimately just theory~

After the interview, they immediately asked me to come in for a trial assignment the next day. During the first month, they gave you flexibility, so you could still attend other interviews if needed. Even if you worked only two days, they would still pay you. However, the first month offered only the base salary; it would be adjusted to 28,000 in the second month. After completing the two-month probationary period, the salary would be determined according to your abilities. (They also made the job seem as though many people wanted it: there were only eight positions, and only one was currently available—once it was filled, there would be no more openings.)

However, when even communicating about the job duties or solving problems is this difficult, there was ultimately no need to proceed with the trial assignment. Still, the HR and design department managers were fairly easy to communicate with; their personalities were completely different from that director’s.
