The year is now 2022, and the bizarre culture described by the 12 predecessors above still exists. I suppose that must be this company’s strength... Carrying out “ㄕˇ” to the very end!
(Background information: Not a recent graduate; more than 15 years of work experience)
1. Bizarrely high turnover: During the interview, HR said there were 5–6 people in the same position. Less than a week after I started, only one senior colleague remained.
2. Surveillance culture: Constantly watching employees, monitoring their phones, and monitoring them while they drive.
3. Strange working-hours culture: Officially, employees clock in at the entrance on the first floor at 8:00, but they are pressured to be in position 10–20 minutes early. The official end time is 17:00, but the company tends to call you into meetings or have you recite company regulations near the end of the workday. Delays of more than an hour are the norm.
4. Bizarre brainwashing: Employees must memorize the company philosophy, document procedures, and management regulations, attend regular classes, and take written exams.
Those with long tenure are either specially chosen by heaven or members of the imperial family! Ordinary people, please be cautious about mistakenly entering this place. Amitabha!
