The Japanese general manager in Taiwan is very courteous, and Japanese employees on assignment rotate every few years.
Perhaps because there are relatively few employees, the company seems to hope that staff maintain friendly relationships with one another, so it places great importance on language skills and personal characteristics.
There are no longer the sarcastic remarks mentioned in previous reviews.
Although the salary structure is somewhat tricky, it may be worth considering if you are pursuing a high salary~
The company may also know that its online reputation is very poor, but it does not seem to have any intention of improving it.
This was the most diverse(?) interview process I have ever experienced.
Written Japanese test, written professional-subject test, interview with the Japanese general manager in Taiwan, a one-day job experience, and a remote interview with Japanese management.
Upon joining the company, you also need to submit photocopies of the ID cards of two employment guarantors. Although I know that some traditional Taiwanese companies still require this...
They do not want employees to take leave casually and will ask about their relationship status.
I wonder whether what people say online—that female employees are dismissed or transferred to dispatch positions when they become pregnant—is true?
In short, for Taiwanese people, it should be a minefield in every way~ Haha
