The worst interview experience ever. Before the interview, they asked me to prepare a self-introduction PowerPoint presentation. On the day of the interview, the manager was late—which would have been one thing on its own.
Then, after I finished introducing myself, the manager told me that the position was a senior-level opening and that I was still too inexperienced…. They said that, unfortunately, someone had already been found for the position yesterday and had just started work today, then asked whether I still wanted to continue with the interview. Of course I continued, since they had already wasted my time.
Please—your company was the one that sent me the interview invitation!!!!Get it together. If you had already found someone, couldn’t you have notified me beforehand? This was completely disrespectful to the job candidate!!!!
The HR representative even said that the new hire had only just started, so they weren’t sure how he was doing in the role. Were you looking for a backup candidate⋯⋯
And the most outrageous part is that they sent me another interview invitation again on the very same day after the interview. I was completely baffled!
