Pros

Can't think of any.

Cons

1. On a new employee's first day reporting to the Hsinchu Science Park plant, the security guard's attitude was not very good. Also, the company's meals were awful—tasted like shit. After completing the orientation training, an assistant from the Engineering Department took me to the department, but the assistant did not proactively introduce herself. Overall, she seemed very passive and indifferent.

2. The Zhonggang plant is located in a facility purchased from AUO Crystal Corp.; simply put, it is a second-hand factory building. The meals at the plant consist of ordered boxed lunches and are just as awful. There is a 7-ELEVEN near the plant, but it does not sell much food. The area outside the factory is overgrown with weeds, and sunken or damaged paving tiles have not been repaired. During the plum rain season, after several consecutive days of heavy rain, a waterfall appeared in the cleanroom, which was completely absurd. After work, the parking lot was also covered in standing water. There is a row of parking shelters that appear to provide rain protection, but they are actually solar panels and cannot keep out the rain at all; water drips through when it rains.

3. Because it is a new plant, everything is extremely disorganized. New employees should not expect anyone to train them, because even the most experienced people there have only been working for three months and basically do not understand anything. After entering the cleanroom, you do not even know what you are supposed to do—you simply watch the vendors work and handle miscellaneous tasks. If you are a shift worker, do not expect to start working shifts on a two-days-on, two-days-off schedule anytime soon. It may be difficult to move to shift work before the end of 2022; instead, you can only spend all day helping day-shift employees with miscellaneous tasks. Because there are not enough people, you may also need to take on some of the day-shift work and responsibilities.
