Your supervisor will give you an endless amount of work, but your pay won’t increase.

I worked in the company’s production and manufacturing department and only resigned two weeks ago. The manufacturing team leader is unpopular and in poor health, so you end up doing all the work. He also has a particular talent for driving away every assistant. Sometimes he tells you obscure bits of knowledge; other times he says he has already dealt with all the difficult tasks. After casually moving two barrels of materials, he says he needs to rest. He is the most senior employee and something of a company veteran, but no one at the company is familiar with him. He also constantly brags about having more than a decade of experience, when in reality it is only entry-level production work that can be learned in three or four months if you study seriously. Most importantly, the monthly salary is less than NT$30,000, and there is no pay adjustment after the probationary period. That useless supervisor earns more than you, but you really cannot figure out what he is busy with. Some time ago, he developed high blood pressure after receiving the AZ vaccine, so he often has to go to the hospital for follow-up appointments. You do all the work alone. Sometimes he comes in, but you find that it would actually be better if he did not.
