Your supervisor will give you an endless amount of work, but your pay will not increase.
I worked in the company’s production and manufacturing department and only resigned two weeks ago. The manufacturing team leader is unpopular and in poor health, so you end up doing all the work. He also has a particular talent for driving away every assistant. Sometimes he tells you obscure bits of knowledge; other times he says he has already dealt with all the difficult tasks. After casually moving two barrels of materials, he says he needs to rest. He is the most senior employee and a veteran of the company, but no one there is familiar with him. He is also constantly bragging about having more than a decade of experience, when in reality the job is only entry-level production work that can be learned in three or four months if you study seriously. The most important point is that the monthly salary is under NT$30,000, and there is no raise after the probationary period. That useless supervisor earns more than you, but you really cannot figure out what he is busy with. Some time ago, he developed high blood pressure after receiving an AZ vaccine, so he often has to return to the hospital for follow-up appointments. You do all the work by yourself. Sometimes he comes in, but you end up feeling that it would be better if he did not come in at all.
