The work is straightforward.

I had only been working as an accounting assistant for three weeks when I suddenly received a notice from the boss saying I was deemed unsuitable for the position.
They didn’t say what made me unsuitable, nor did they point out anything I had done poorly or any attitude problems. They even said the supervisor had passed on the message, but that supervisor conveniently happened to be absent.
