1. The Zhonghe office is terrible. It is a shared office, and the company only uses one section while renting out the rest, so many people who are not from the company come and go. The boss likes to use cheap products, and the renovations from many years ago are almost completely worn out. There is an older woman who cleans, but she only cleans the toilets; no one takes care of the common areas.
2. The boss graduated from National Taiwan University and is self-important, believing that employees are all idiots and underlings. “What makes you think you can speak directly with me?” “I don’t want to hear your opinion. If I want an opinion, I’ll ask xxx.” “You can only speak when I ask you to provide your opinion.” He is extremely emotional. He does not like using profanity, but he is extremely cutting in the way he speaks.
3. The senior managers are all enforcers. When you raise a problem, they have no intention of helping you solve it. When an issue concerns employee compensation (raises or bonuses), they respond by asking, “Has HR not brainwashed you?” or “The boss doesn’t like hearing that,” and tell you to figure it out yourself.
4. When they want you to leave, they pressure employees through messages to admit that they are incompetent, bombarding them until they agree to voluntarily resign that same day.
5. The boss does not like employees buying stationery, and you absolutely cannot get reimbursed. If you want to work at this company, bring your own supplies. They will even ask whether you have your own laptop and tell you to bring it to work.
