The interviewer was from HR, who conducted the initial screening before passing me on to the department manager for a second interview.

The HR representative was very polite, asked highly professional questions, and was also able to analyze the company’s projects and situation.

Because the interview was conducted online, I did not get to see the company’s actual environment or culture. The previous interview information is also somewhat outdated, so I am providing this for reference.

I learned that there is currently not much business between Shanghai and Taiwan at Toei, but the main business is still handled by the subsidiaries below.

This is a small-to-medium-sized company. The HR representative gave me the impression that the company culture is very open. Career development may be somewhat limited, but it is a very suitable place to stay. The work culture is not high-pressure, overtime is not very frequent or forced, and the company’s business is relatively mature. It is expected to launch products based on its main IP in the future, so there is something to look forward to.

Therefore, the salary is around the market average. There is generally a one-month year-end bonus, and due to the nature of the position, business bonuses can add another month, for an annual salary equivalent to 13 months, or at most 14 months.
