Do not come here under any circumstances! The salary is low—extremely low—and a raise is completely out of the question. They put up all kinds of obstacles when it comes to the promised bonuses; even a NT$2,000 bonus seems to require the boss and the boss's wife to give up their lives!
Every week, they love looking at the performance figures in meetings, then spend all day thinking of ways to push employees to keep chasing higher figures. But as soon as performance bonuses are mentioned, they say, “Oh—we have to be very careful. Sometimes bonuses are a kind of poison that can harm the brand.” What a joke. They use KPIs to evaluate employee performance all day long, but when bonuses come up, they pretend to manage using OKRs.
Then, when the pandemic broke out, they said, “They’re all mild cases,” and “There’s nothing to be afraid of.” But when it came time for the year-end banquet, they said, “The pandemic is so scary. For everyone’s sake, we’re going to cancel the year-end banquet. Everyone will have boxed meals instead~” Then they dismissed everyone with a “NT$150” boxed meal per person. When people at the year-end raffle shouted “Add more prizes,” the boss’s wife would even angrily berate them. Haha.
The workload keeps increasing, and then they tell you this is called “learning,” and that “unreasonable demands are a form of training.”
