Pros
Whether a supervisor is good or bad really depends on the department.
Cons
HR has too much authority and undermines the hiring manager’s judgment.
When it comes to IT expertise, only the department head knows what kind of people they should work with; after all, the experience those managers have gained is not to be dismissed.
