Still willing to conduct interviews

A little over six months ago, I had an online interview with your company due to the pandemic. On the day of the interview, I only spoke with an HR representative. She merely helped me fill in the missing parts of my résumé, and then spent time chatting with me. She said the manager was still in a meeting, so she asked me to speak with her first. After we finished, HR went to speak with the manager, but the response was that the manager was currently unavailable and asked me to wait for news about a second interview. As a result, I ended up waiting for more than six months. If I was not a suitable candidate, you should have made that clear—why simply ghost me like that?

Fortunately, the company I currently work for does not simply ghost interviewees.
