1. The farmers we work with are very nice, and we often get to eat fruit at work.
2. The office location is convenient for transportation.
1. The boss only listens to the opinions of the core team and loves labeling people. Once you are labeled as someone they do not like, they will find fault with and make things difficult for you at every turn.
2. Meeting performance targets is open to interpretation. After first forcing out the manager who set the performance targets, they kept cutting the bonuses. Even when the bonus amounted to less than one month’s pay, they still split it into payments over one to three months. So stingy.
3. During the pandemic, they disregarded employees’ safety. The boss drove to work personally and assumed it was harmless, then taunted those who were afraid, saying they should just stay home and not come to work.
4. The deputy COO on the boss’s core team was originally in HR. Personnel changes were chaotic; perhaps the KPI was the company’s rate of replacing its staff. There was also a veteran-level marketing manager who wandered around observing what everyone was doing every day, only throwing tasks to others to handle. In private, they said not to worry about what the boss thought; whenever subordinates’ reports caught the boss’s attention, they would keep quiet. As the boss’s confidant, they would never be called out, no matter what they did.
5. The boss only knows how to say that losses mean layoffs and tells managers to calculate profit and loss themselves. How are they supposed to calculate it when the necessary information is not provided clearly?
6. They are very good at cultivating an external image and love seeking comfort from devoted fans, but their internal management is poor and falls far short of the friendliness and excellence they claim externally.
Upper management loves to talk about accountability and honesty, but they themselves are the best at shirking responsibility and being dishonest.
