Traditional industry combined with Japanese corporate culture. The manager has an unhealthy mindset. It would be understandable if they didn’t understand software technology, but they expect you to know everything while only offering a salary that is completely below market rates. They also only want to hire one engineer to struggle alone. Enough is enough.

Besides having to work overtime on weekdays, you may also have to work overtime on Saturdays. The office environment is very outdated—it’s simply a waste of time.
