I worked here for two years and recently resigned. I thought about it for a long time, but I really couldn't come up with a single good point. It's truly awful.
The employee turnover rate is high (even people who had worked here for years have left), so I get to frequently meet new people and make new friends—does that count? Hahaha.
1. The work environment is dirty and messy—the stairwells are covered in spider webs, and the restrooms are always smelly and damp... Disgusting.
2. Salaries are paid late, and miscalculations are the norm. When I told HR, they just casually said, as if it were routine, “I’ll make it up to you next month.” But whether it was ever made up is anyone’s guess.
3. There are more foreign workers than local employees. But the frightening thing is that even the foreign workers don’t want to stay... As soon as their contracts end, they leave as fast as they can.
4. Promotions are not based on ability or technical skills, but on whether you work overtime... Ridiculous.
5. Not only do they refuse to pay overtime, they also abuse the managerial-exempt system... HR, could you please take a look at the regulations for this system? We do not meet the conditions for being covered by it. No wonder everyone says HR’s only function is to stop us from buying things; they have absolutely no professionalism.
6. The boss wants to control everything and doesn’t dare delegate authority to subordinates, yet the things they do manage are still handled in a completely disorganized way...
7. Benefits are zero—truly zero. There are absolutely no benefits at all, and don’t even mention raises. When you see the numbers, you’ll want to laugh.
In short, my impression after two years is... (I can’t say it, because it would be one long string of profanity.)
