Pros

#Customer Service Representative #Hsinchu, Xinfeng #New Graduate

The work environment is modern, clean, comfortable, and tidy, with a cleaning staff member who keeps things organized. No overtime is required; once the workday ends (8:00–17:00), you can simply hang up your headset and leave. At noon, there is also an ordering system available. From time to time, the General Affairs team changes the menu and vendors!!!! The options include breakfast items, rice/noodle dishes, and boxed meals.

The work is not very complicated. Once you become familiar with the company’s contracted-service regulations and system operations, you can get the hang of it fairly quickly. It really consists of simply answering calls and typing up customers’ issues, then reporting them to supervisors or the relevant service stations.

During employment and after leaving the company, if you have related needs or require documents, the Human Resources Department can provide assistance free of charge. I am truly very grateful.

Overall, aside from customers who lose their temper, yell, or are difficult to calm down, the environment and supervisors here are actually quite good. In terms of benefits, there are occasional seasonal bonuses and summer allowances, and the birthday cash gift is also provided. If the air conditioning breaks down, the relevant department is contacted promptly for repairs. The colleagues include both mothers and new graduates, so it is a fairly comfortable and stable job.

Cons

1. The drivers’ quality varies. Some are good and polite, while others are quite aggressive and irresponsible. Looking back, there were actually many cases where I had to report driver-related issues (e.g., being rude because of having too many packages, packages falling off along the way, packages being delivered to the wrong location, packages being placed carelessly, etc.). Drivers do work very hard, of course (and there are also unreasonable or hot-tempered customers), but having to apologize to customers on behalf of drivers for so long can really make you question your life.

2. Additional fees were introduced for Taobao shipments, but the company did not issue an announcement, resulting in customers having to call one by one to ask what the fees were for.

3. On typhoon days, staff in nearby areas may still be scheduled to work.

4. You need to take turns working Saturdays, but you receive one weekday off in lieu.

5. Without a computer, it is impossible to do the work. However, even during a power outage or when the computer cannot be used, you still need to answer calls, which can be quite inconvenient. (For example, a customer may ask you to handle something regarding a package, but once the computer becomes available, you may discover that the package has already been delivered—and still have to call back to inform the customer that you cannot provide assistance.)
