There is a store allowance for working at the store.
1. The pace is too slow, and you’ll get severely berated. If you don’t do well, the store manager will constantly chew you out (repeatedly question why you didn’t get things done), or you may be bullied because no one will help you (the store manager even leads by saying not to help).
2. Depending on the store, some part-time employees may have worked there for a long time. If they are more familiar with the work than you are, they may look down on you (some part-time employees act arrogantly for no apparent reason). Others may insist on taking over your task while you’re doing it, perhaps because they like to show off.
3. If the mystery shopper gives a poor evaluation, the store manager will pin the blame on you (regardless of whether you were the person on duty who was evaluated at the time).
4. If there are few customers and poor sales, they will turn around and criticize you, asking why you didn’t achieve the target.
5. If sales targets are not met, you will be pushed to write a long series of reports in the group chat, explaining why the target was not achieved, what you will do about it, or what you have done to try to increase sales.
6. Overall, I think it mainly depends on which store you are assigned to. If everyone at your store has worked there for a long time and you are the least experienced person, you had better look after yourself.
7. You will be required to engage in face-to-face sales: when customers enter the store, you must introduce products to them (what they call face-to-face sales). They will also ask you to take photos as a record (they will ask for your consent when you enter).
Summary: Working there requires you to be fast. There is a required completion time for every task. People who adapt quickly and well are more suitable. In addition, because face-to-face sales are required, it is better suited to people with strong sales skills.
