Pros

I was an applicant.

Overall, I had a very good impression of the interview, and the company team seemed quite young.

The company is located in Xinzhuang (approximately a 6–8 minute walk from Xingfu MRT Station).

The office is in a new building, and the company’s interior is overall open and bright.

The meeting rooms are also very spacious, and the hardware facilities seem excellent—the meeting rooms have large multifunctional conference displays.

My interview took approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in total (including the time spent filling out forms).

Upon arriving at the company, I first filled out a personnel information form containing some company-related questions (but it was not a written test).

In addition to personal information, the form included some basic questions about the company.

A few questions I remember were:

* What are your career plans for the future?

* What is your current understanding of the company?

* What are your expectations of yourself, and what are your aspirations for yourself in the future?

The questions were all open-ended, so I answered them based on my genuine thoughts.

During the interview, the manager also asked some related follow-up questions based on the answers I had written.

I met with only one interviewer.

Overall, I had a very positive interview experience. The manager’s questions were highly professional, and their attitude was very kind. The questions were precise.

The manager also listened carefully to my explanations and interacted with me throughout the process, which made me feel less nervous.

The questions mainly focused on my past experience as presented on my résumé.

The manager also asked some questions about the professional aspects of the work at my previous positions.

Next, I shared my views on the position I was applying for (Product Development Specialist).

The manager also gave a very detailed explanation of the company’s development, the expectations the company has for this position, and the company’s future scale of development.

The manager proactively explained other matters we might want to know, such as the benefits system, basic working hours, and company atmosphere. As a result, by the end, I could hardly think of any questions to ask.

I would have liked to join the team, but unfortunately I was not selected in the end. However, this company was very considerate—the HR representative provided a response and explained the reason for the decision.

Cons

Since I was not selected and did not join the company, I cannot answer this question (the interview process itself was good).
