The salary offered during the interview was slightly higher than that for a typical administrative assistant position.

The official end of the workday is 5:00 p.m., but I never left work on time. They directly said that the reason the salary was higher was because it was treated as overtime pay, implying that overtime could not be reported. Also, it is a family-owned business. When I asked about the turnover rate, HR said that if they felt someone was unsuitable, they would ask that person to leave, so I guess the previous employee was asked to leave too :)
