The interviewers were all very young and willing to listen to me explain the technologies used in my previous job and thesis.
The senior manager who came in last clearly only wanted to push the salary down. An engineer who understood artificial intelligence, had written related papers, and had relevant work experience still couldn’t get an offer above 35K. They would also deliberately belittle interviewees and make them feel how inadequate they were. Regardless of whether you’re a newcomer or have work experience, I strongly recommend not undervaluing yourself to work there—it’s really not worth it.
