Colleagues are easy to get along with
The work atmosphere is pretty good
You can use clients’ money to gain experience
First:
Whether it’s the company policies, performance bonuses, project information, or anything else, not a single piece of information is transparent.
A lot of decisions are made by supervisors on their own during meetings, and employees are always the last to know. Sometimes no official announcement is even made.
Second:
The office environment is still just as bad. Although there has been some improvement recently and a cleaning company has been hired, supposedly to give employees more energy to focus on work (it sounds nice, but who knows whether they’re really thinking about employees’ well-being, haha).
Third:
Year-end festival bonuses, project bonuses, year-end parties, opening-of-business red envelopes—you name it, the company simply can’t deliver any of these benefits. I have no idea how bad the financial situation is. If you can’t afford to provide them, don’t flaunt these benefits on 104 to deceive people.
Fourth:
The supervisor is basically useless, as if they’re just sitting in that position waiting to retire. They have no marketing knowledge or concepts whatsoever, and I really don’t understand why the company hired someone like this as a supervisor???? They’re of no help with projects, communication, or anything else. All they do is talk about how bad things are internally without considering whether there’s something wrong with their own people-management SOP. They never improve anything—it’s just pathetic.
Fourth:
The turnover rate is extremely high (as fast as the flow from your faucet), and clients are left completely confused (which is understandable, because things are already incredibly chaotic internally). It’s as if clients are being treated like balls, tossed around randomly. If I were a client, I’d terminate the contract immediately :)
They love hiring fresh graduates and then bluffing clients, even though the people actually carrying out the work don’t understand anything at all.
Fifth:
The company loves launching all kinds of so-called proprietary brands, but not a single one has succeeded. Maybe, apart from the recent XX Currency YouTube channel making some money through advertising, they think they’ve done something amazing. In other people’s eyes, it’s really just a waste of time and resources. Why not put that time and energy into the other employees instead?
Sixth:
The boss does nothing but sit in the office all day and never cares about the employees, because sales is apparently the most valuable department to him, haha.
All the veteran salespeople have left (the reason should be obvious to everyone), and the new sales staff often can’t even figure out the contract terms. They have no idea what they’re doing, and they don’t consider the company’s capabilities before agreeing to a bunch of unreasonable client demands.
Seventh:
One senior manager only takes care of a particular team (according to internal company rumors, all the resources have been allocated there, and everyone else can forget about getting any). I really don’t know how subservient the people on that team must be to keep working themselves to the bone for a company like this????
Eighth (and most importantly):
The company’s systems and policies are seriously problematic. I genuinely recommend that everyone stay away.
Everyone who comes will eventually leave, and those who stay are miserable. Think carefully.
There are plenty of good companies out there; this one is really not worth it.
The boss and the heads of the various departments genuinely won’t care whether you live or die.
Still, thanks to this company for letting me experience the darkness of the workplace, the incompetence of supervisors, and the company’s capabilities.
