微風數位時代股份有限公司
Pros

Suitable for people who want to challenge themselves

A good place for self-cultivation

Cons

1. Very little communication; most things are handled behind closed doors, and decisions are usually made by one person.

2. Raises and promotions are reserved for certain people and depend solely on whether they have a good relationship with management.

3. Because they cannot find people and keep the budget extremely tight, they only look for cheap outsourcing, resulting in disastrous quality.

4. There is a lack of planning: whenever someone thinks of something, it must be done immediately, with no follow-up arrangements. As a result, the department often runs into problems and starts randomly pulling people in to put out fires.

5. Outsourcing hours are frequently cut, and quite a few outsourcing vendors have already been replaced.

6. Supervisors often say, “You don’t need to explain; I understand everything,” and require outsourced staff to produce results without conducting research. This is extremely disrespectful of professional expertise.

7. There is never time to optimize the system architecture. The versions are already outdated, and optimization is always pushed to the very end.

8. Old and new systems are interconnected without sufficient consideration. Something is often fixed on one side while another issue is forgotten elsewhere.

9. SOPs are never established, yet supervisors expect subordinates to act autonomously, forgetting that an alarm can only go off after it has first been set.

10. The team has entrenched senior employees. If you propose improvements or suggestions that would take up their time, they will block you with all kinds of excuses.

11. There is a great deal of room for subjective manipulation in performance evaluations. Documentation is merely for appearances, while KPIs are assigned based on management’s mood.

12. When it comes to technologies or solutions, they do not consult people with relevant expertise; the supervisor makes the selection.
